Allergies & Vikings
I'm sick. Allergies for the past two days and this morning the crap moved down into my lungs. HACK HACK SPLAT. (did something just hit the back of my teeth?)
Did get Lovely Wife to play Heroscape with me. If you don't know by now, I'm a gamer (no, not gamey!!). I love board games but I shy away from the huge expensive complicated 6 hour stuff (only because I have neither $$ or time). We even have a monthly game night at the house. Anyway, back to Heroscape.
This game is great for almost every age. It has simple rules that little kids can play and the advanced rules are easy enough to learn in 8 minutes. The game board is modular plastic that can be constructed differently for every game and the pieces in the game are wonderful prepainted minatures. In the box you get a dragon, Men In Black, WWII paratroopers, Vikings, Valkries, Samurai, and Orcs riding Dinos.
I will probably have this set up for game night on th 17th of this month. If you want to come, post a reply and I'll send you directions and an invite.
HACK HACK. Sheesh, I hate getting sick on a holiday weekend. But I'm not as bad off as Youngest Son. He's having his wisdom teeth out today. Guess we'll lay around and watch movies all weekend. HACK HACK
