This week's assignment was a Brush with Greatness!!! Well, mine have few & far between.
- My first BwG was when I was 6. My family took a vacation out to California and we were staying with my Dad's cousin. Anyway, Dad's cousin went to the Post Office & ran into a friend of hers, Joe Brooks. Joe played Vanderbilt on F Troop. He invited him over and he spent probably several hours telling me stories about Hollywood and the TV show. It was probably one of the best things on the whole trip.

- When I lived in Illinois, I attened a Jery Reed concert at The Rialto theater. During one of his songs I shouted "Play Amos Moses." He stopped, looked at me & told me to shut up. The next song was Amos Moses.
- The last BwG was that I was randomly chosen from folks at work to meet with GW Bush during a short stop here in OKC early in 2001. We were supposed to meet him before he left OKC, but he was running late. The Secret Service told us that since he was running late, GW would probably just leave, he had a very busy schedule. The motocade pulled up onto the tarmac, GW got out and came directly over the the line of folks waiting to greet him. There were about 75 folks there to see him and he stopped, shook hands & signed autographs with everyone of them. He even posed for some pictures with the local police. I got to shake his hand and told him thank you for job he was doing. He thanked us for the jobs we did as well.
Dustbury, counts Dawn Eden on his list.
Happy Homemaker receives a compliment from Vincent Price.
Dan Ledwig (a friend of mine) leaves his musical entry in the comments on my blog.
I will announce the Giver of Topic on Monday.
