The canoe saga - part 2
I ended up calling my city councilman about the getting the law changed for my canoe. They were aware of the situation since the mayor told them to look into it. I ended up talking to the boss of the Parks & Recreation guy and he told me...that when the Fish & Wildlife board voted on changing the canoe size regulation, they also voted on getting rid of the law that required life jackets and the number of people a canoe could safely carry.
I was totally stupified. The cops decided they didn't like that idea and the whole thing got thrown into committees somewhere.
I talked to Mr Murray of the P & R and he said that they are rewriting the vote and that they can vote on it again the first Mon in April. Hopefully they will get it right. This is so messed up.
