The Tile that Binds
I am not getting motivated to get stuff done while Lovely Wife is at her mom’s. Today was a slow day at work, it rained all day today, my lunch buddy got shanghied and had to miss lunch, and now I’m not wanting to DO anything.
I forced my self to fix the dining room chair (the leg came unglued) so I guess THAT was step in the right direction and I know as soon as I start cutting tile, I’ll be into the bathroom project. There are 3 big steps in the tile job, finding the tools I need, mixing the mortar, and cutting the tile. Once I mix the mortar, I’m commited, there is no going back. But I definately need to get this done before Saturday when Lovely Wife returns.
Hmmm, maybe I’ll eat supper. Nah, I’m not hungry, don’t want to cook, and don’t want to eat out. How do you single folks do this? Maybe that’s why on TV the single folks are always hanging around together, laughing, & talking about sex.
But that still doesn’t get the bathroom tiled (even if you use that phrase as a euphemism for something else. 
)
I just keep telling myself, if I get the bathroom tiled tonight & grouted tomorrow, I can work on the garage Wednesday (now THERE is motivation for ya), and I can go gaming on Thursday (the TRUE motivation).
I’m off to find the tape measure and start marking tile.
Here I go.
I won’t be back until it’s done. No photos, because Lovely Wife took the camera with her. You’ll just have to take my word for it.
