Tile Laying

Friday night I moved everything in the kitchen into the living room and onto the patio.
Mike came by Saturday around 0800 and we finally laid our first tile at 0930. It takes quite awhile to determine the best starting point. We started in the entry and settled on a staggered pattern rather than parrallel straight lines. Mike went home half past midnight (the entry, kitchen hallway and 1/4 of the dining room was done) and I was up to 0200 because it was going to rain and I had to get a shelf, a chair, and the desk into the living room.
Sunday, I started around 0930 and Mike showed up around 1130. We worked until midnight when the blade on the tile saw stopped working. We had only 14 more tiles to go in the laundry room but they all needed cuts. Mike will drop a blade by tomorrow and I'll finish the tiles. Mike will come by Tuesday to put in the grout.
Friday is carpet.
